Prince Elias of Turku has grown weary of the gilded halls and courtly intrigue. When his father commands him to find a bride, Elias sets out into the ancient Finnish forest, guided by a whispered legend of a bride who dwells among the pines. There, he meets Aino, a woman of startling beauty and quiet mystery, who lives in harmony with the wild. But she is no ordinary maiden—she is the forest‘s chosen, bound to the spirit Tapio, who will test Elias’s heart with trials of courage, honesty, and love. As Elias ventures deeper into the woods, he uncovers secrets that could break the bond between human and nature, and he must decide what he is willing to sacrifice for a love that transcends the mortal world. A tale of enchantment and sacrifice, ‘The Bride of the Woods’ weaves Finnish folklore into a haunting story of devotion and the eternal dance between humanity and the wilderness.
