Chapter 4: Chapter 4 — Letters in the Snow
Border : the last sunrise
By AuthorDays passed. No further movement.
But something had changed.
Arjun stood taller. His fear had been replaced by purpose.
One evening, a supply helicopter arrived. Letters came.
Arjun received one from his sister.
Bhaiya, my exam went well. I wore your lucky bracelet. When I grow up, I want to be brave like you.
Arjun read it twice.
Raghav received none.
“Does it bother you?”
Arjun asked.
Raghav shook his head. “The border is my family now.”
They stood together watching the sunset bleed orange across the peaks.
Two soldiers.
One nation.
