## Synopsis
In a remote Norwegian village, Bjørn the bear is the proudest creature in the valley, boasting a magnificent, bushy tail that he believes makes him the finest of all animals. But when the sly fox Ræv grows tired of Bjørn's vanity, he hatches a cunning plan to humble him. Using flattery and false friendship, Ræv convinces Bjørn to fish through a hole in the frozen lake, using his tail as bait. As the sun sets, the ice freezes around Bjørn's tail, and with a mighty pull, he snaps it clean off. From that day on, bears have short, stumpy tails—a reminder that pride comes before a fall. This charming retelling of a classic Norwegian folk tale is set in a later era, where the village of Bjørndal still tells the story to teach children about the dangers of vanity and the value of humility. An AI-assisted retelling of the origin tale (why things are the way they are) "Why the Bear Has a Stumpy Tail" from Norway.
