A door reveals itself, separating the atmosphere of two worlds. On one side, darkness, but on the other, as you pass through the frame that holds it, a pink light greets cordially, while its warm glow, which induces sleep, shows the immediate vicinity of the place.
A room is observed that, on both sides, has in its interior two enormous stone tanks, which measure at least one meter high, and extend along the entire site, starting from the wall where the entrance is located until colliding against its distant opposite.
Both constructions are perfectly homologous to each other, except for one thing that differentiates them.
The one on the right is covered with a lid composed of the same rough material, one to which innumerable holes as thick as a finger have been made. Meanwhile, the one on the left, being completely uncovered, allows the curious eye to look inside.
In one, it is unknown what it contains because the holes on it are too small to allow light to pass through. In the other one, by contrast, the tenants that inhabit it are easily visible.
More than a dozen babies who, indifferent to the uncomfortable positions in which they lie, sleep peacefully as they ignore the noise coming from beyond a musty wooden door.
This site, which differs from the other several rooms inside the cave, is divided into two sections. The first is this one, where the babies rest comfortably, surrounded by a warm and cozy atmosphere. However, it is only after advancing to the next part that the true face of the place is revealed.
As they changed location, the pink light was replaced by a damp and disturbing shade of crimson, which covered and embraced all the surrounding objects as if this was a liquid.
Ignoring the above, the first difference to notice would be the size of the place, as this is distinctly larger than the previous section. In addition, when looking in a little more detail, again on the sides, as if they were intentionally replacing the stone tanks, are located numerous shelves and bookcases.
On the right are bookcases filled with books, both new and antique. In addition, on the floor beneath them, countless sheets of paper, stained with various substances, are lying around.
On the left, the shelves are loaded with materials of all sizes, shapes, colors, and even smells, from claws, teeth, organs, and eyes to other body parts of unrecognizable appearances.
This entire room, or at least half of it, undoubtedly shares similarities between a laboratory and an office. Such a relationship is even more marked when considering that, in the center of the place, there is an old wooden table, one on which there is a plate with food, meat is what it contains, and next to that, an empty crystal cup.
In addition, next to the table, there is also a chair, which is unoccupied, as the only person who could use it is currently standing.
Looking to the front, the old man from before is seen, still wearing the same luxurious garments with the crown slipping down to the side of his head.
