Chapter 27: Chapter 27 — Heaven, Earth, and Man: The Three Demons
Heaven’s Eternal Gate
By AuthorFlying Yakshas!
They were the legendary demonic beasts—bodies of steel and iron, boundless strength, forms like ghostly gods. Vast flesh-wings spread from their backs, allowing them to glide through the air. They were the commanders of the abyssal demons, known as Demon Generals.
Flying Yakshas were especially terrifying. Their intelligence rivaled that of humans, their martial skills profound, and because they could fly, they were virtually invincible against any cultivator below the Divine Ability Realm.
To suppress one, only experts of the Divine Ability Realm were sufficient.
Their skin was a layer of hardened bone that even flying swords struggled to cut. Their vitality was so monstrous that even after decapitation, their bodies could continue slaughtering for hours before dying.
They moved like lightning. One required many elites to kill.
There were ten.
Fang Han’s face went pale.
He sensed danger flooding his heart.
He had read of them in All Worlds. Among the abyssal races: first came Demons, then Yakshas, and above them—the Flying Yakshas.
One Flying Yaksha could command ten to twenty thousand Demons.
True demonic generals.
With his strength, Fang Han might kill one using the Spirit Wind Sword.
Two would mean certain death.
The ten Yakshas landed behind the Crimson Prince, shrieking with piercing, inhuman laughter.
One Demon General, gripping a black steel trident, spoke clearly in human language:
“Excellent. So many Yuhua disciples today. Plenty of flesh for refining corpse soldiers. Especially those in the Divine Transformation Realm—we can forge Great Strength Golden Corpses. And we may seize several spirit artifacts as well.”
Moonlight glinted on the poisoned trident.
When Fang Han met the Yaksha’s blood-red gaze, it felt as though he had fallen into a pool of blood—his senses filled with slaughter.
The Yakshas were not mindless beasts.
They were intelligent, strategic, and deadly.
Yuan Jiankong spoke coldly:
“Earth Demons and Human Demons have always slaughtered each other. Now you ally together. What agreement have you reached?”
The Crimson Prince smiled softly, his voice sweet and chilling:
“The three Earth Demon Emperors have formed a mutual-defense pact with our Demon Emperors. We shall cleanse the Ten Immortal Sects, beginning with the Vast Sea Desert. Then our armies will sweep across the kingdoms, destroying your Immortal Path and building the world we desire—where humans, demons, spirits, and monsters coexist without discrimination, without slaughter.
In ancient times, that was the true golden age.
You Immortal Sects divided beauty from ugliness, good from evil, and created endless war.
That age ends now.”
His smile deepened.
“Your deaths… Are merely the beginning.”
Fang Han’s mind raced.
He remembered from All Worlds:
There were three types of Demons:
Human Demons — humans cultivating demonic arts.
Earth Demons — abyssal races like Yakshas.
Heavenly Demons — beings from the starry void.
Human Demons reaching longevity were Demon Emperors.
Earth Demons reaching longevity were Demon Sovereigns.
Heavenly Demons reaching longevity were Demon Gods.
The Crimson Prince belonged to the Human Demon lineage.
Mo suddenly smiled.
“Flying Yakshas… Excellent. Capture them and offer them to the sect. Their memories erased, they become supreme puppets. Ten of them would earn ten Spirit Artifacts as reward.”
She raised her hand.
A golden rope with purple bells flew forth, slithering through the air toward the Yakshas.
A blue flying sword burst from her back.
The other inner disciples unleashed their swords as well.
Five swords formed a rotating Five-Star Sword Formation.
The air screamed.
Sandstorms erupted.
A towering column of rotating sword light shredded everything in its path.
Meanwhile, Yuan Jiankong’s emerald robe glowed, forming a levitating sphere. His Silver Serpent Sword coiled toward the Crimson Prince.
The battle began.
The golden rope radiated a powerful pure-yang aura.
The Yakshas inhaled it and instantly weakened. The rope coiled around all ten, binding them.
It was a treasure artifact forged to suppress Earth Demons—crafted from ten thousand years of cinnabar essence and the blood of 9,999 noon-born five-colored roosters.
Even Flying Yakshas lost most of their strength once bound.
The swords pierced their chests.
The Crimson Prince’s face darkened.
“You planned this well.”
Mo sneered.
“Did you think we came unprepared?”
The sand bandits surged.
Mo roared:
“Outer disciples—hold the line!”
Princess Hongyi drew her sword.
“Now is our trial by blood!”
Fang Han roared in response, raised his Demon-Slaying Sword, and charged.
