“Aghhh! My head!”
*HUFF *HUFF
*SNIFF
Sighhh
“So where am I now ?”
Looking around me i found myself standing on a random terrain
It looked similar to those caves I have seen when i have gone outing with my college mates during summer vacation
The cave-like ruin that Grey found was a breathtaking sight. As he saw the chamber, he was struck by the cool, damp air that hung heavy with the scent of earth and mustiness. The room was dimly lit, with shafts of light filtering in from cracks in the ceiling and walls.
The walls of the ruin were made of rough-hewn stone, some of which had been smoothed and polished over time by erosion and the passing of countless visitors. The stones were arranged in an irregular pattern, forming rough arches and alcoves that gave the room an organic feel.
Small pools of water dotted the floor, reflecting the flickering light of Grey’s torch. As he moved further into the chamber,
*STEP *STEP
he noticed that the pools were fed by a small stream that trickled through a crack in the ceiling. The sound of the water was soothing and calming, and Grey found himself drawn to it.
The ceiling of the chamber was high and arched, disappearing into darkness above. Stalactites hung down from the ceiling, some of them thin and spindly, others thick and imposing. The stalactites seemed to reach down toward the floor, as if they were trying to touch the stalagmites that rose up from the ground.
Despite the darkness and the musty smell, Grey felt a sense of awe and wonder as he explored
His eyes around the cave-like ruin. He couldn’t help but feel as if he were walking in the footsteps of ancient civilizations, and the sense of history and mystery that surrounded him was palpable.
“But this is all good and all but what the heck is this smell ?”
I cautiously approached the source of the smell, my hand covering my nose and mouth. The stench was overwhelming, making my eyes water and my stomach churn. I knew that I was getting close to the body, and I steeled myself for what I was about to see.
As I rounded a corner, I saw it. A days-old corpse of a human, lying on the ground in a small clearing. The body was bloated and discolored, and the skin was starting to peel away from the bones. Flies buzzed around the corpse, attracted by the smell.
I could feel my gorge rising as I got closer to the body. The smell was almost unbearable now, a sickly-sweet odor that seemed to cling to my clothes and skin. I knew that I needed to examine the body to determine the cause of death, but I wasn’t sure if I could handle it.
With a deep breath, I forced myself to move closer to the body. The stench was even worse now, and I felt bile rising in my throat. But I had a job to do, and I couldn’t let my disgust get in the way.
As I looked more closely at the body, I noticed signs of trauma – bruises on the neck and head, and a broken arm. It was clear that this person had been murdered.
But even as I worked to process what I had found, the smell of the days-old corpse of a human lingered in my nose, reminding me of the fragility of life and the inevitability of death.
“Now that I see this clearly”
The body lying before me was that of an adult male, and it was immediately clear that he had been dead for several days. He was wearing a white military outfit that was now stained and torn in several places, likely a result of his struggle before death.
The man had a sword at his side, the hilt of which was decorated with intricate designs. It was clear that the sword had once been a thing of beauty, but it was now tarnished and rusty. A flintlock pistol lay next to the man’s hand, its barrel still hot to the touch.
The man’s face was twisted in a grimace of pain, and it was clear that he had suffered greatly before his death. His eyes were open and staring, but they were dull and lifeless. The skin on his face was already starting to peel away, revealing the skull underneath.
As I examined the body more closely, I noticed bruises on the man’s neck and head, indicating that he had been strangled and beaten before being killed. His left arm was also broken, and it was clear that he had put up a fight before succumbing to his injuries.
Despite the gruesome nature of the scene before me, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of awe at the man’s bravery. He had clearly been a soldier, and his uniform and weapons suggested that he had fought in some kind of battle. As I looked at his lifeless body, I couldn’t help but wonder what his story was, and how he had ended up in this forgotten corner of the world.
“But what kind of battle was he in ? that he got himself this injured and killed in the process”
‘Just thinking about what he gone through makes me shiver’
“Wait, he is wearing a military uniform right?”
“Now that I see it my outfit is very similar to him”
Grey stood before the corpse, his eyes scanning the scene with a cool detachment. He too wore a white military uniform, but unlike the stained and torn outfit of the dead man, Grey’s uniform was immaculate and tailored to perfection.
The fabric was a deep black, and the edges were lined with gold thread. It was clear from the intricate embroidery and the quality of the fabric that Grey came from a high background.
The buttons on his coat were shiny and polished, and his boots were gleaming black leather. He wore a matching black tricorn hat, which he removed as he approached the body. His dark hair was slicked back, and his face was stoic and unemotional.
Overall, Grey presented an imposing figure, with his tall frame and imposing presence. His uniform and bearing marked him as a man of high rank and breeding, and it was clear that he was accustomed to command and respect.
So he picked up the sword which looked like miao dao
“It seems like this body has gone through alot”
“Hmm? What’s this?”
Grey’s attention was drawn to the sword at the side of the corpse, and he examined it closely, noting the intricate designs and the quality of the metal. He seemed unmoved by the gruesome scene before him.
I approached the corpse and saw the sword lying by its side. It was a beautiful Miaodao sword, its blade long and curved, with intricate designs etched into the metal. The hilt was wrapped in a rich, red fabric, and the pommel was decorated with a small, jade dragon.
I reached down and picked up the sword, feeling its weight in my hand. The balance was perfect, and I could tell that this was a weapon of great craftsmanship. The blade was still sharp, and I could see my own reflection in the polished metal.
As I picked up the Miaodao sword and examined it closely, I caught a glimpse of my own reflection in the polished blade. At first, I barely registered what I was seeing, but then I took a closer look.
There I was, staring back at myself from the metal surface of the sword. My uniform was impeccable, and my face was stoic and unemotional. The image in the blade was almost like a mirror, and for a moment, I was lost in my own reflection.
‘Hang on a second! why is my face not like it used to be’ I grumbled and thought I might be someone else…
But then I shook my head and forced myself to focus on the task at hand. I couldn’t afford to be distracted by my own image, not when there was a killer on the loose and a mystery to be solved.
Still, as I sheathed the sword and attached it to my belt, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of unease. Seeing my own reflection in the blade had reminded me of my own mortality, and the fragility of life.
It was a sobering reminder that, no matter how skilled or powerful I might be, I was still just a man, subject to the same forces of fate and chance as anyone else.
With a deep breath, I squared my shoulders and turned back to the task at hand. There was still work to be done, and I couldn’t let my own reflection distract me from the task at hand. But even as I set off into the ruins, I couldn’t shake the sense of unease that had settled in the pit of my stomach
“Well it seems I found myself in something troublesome”
As I looked around I caught myself wearing some kind of high tech bracelet which has (!) sign
That seems to be conveying me to touch it
And as I tapped on it
A familiar voice rang through my ears

Suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps behind me. I whirled around, my Miaodao sword at the ready. That’s when I saw the devil.
[BEEP!]
[RANK: DEVIL
KNOWN ATTRIBUTES: NA
DETECTED ELEMENTAL TYPE: CRYO/ICE]
The devil was tall and menacing, with blue skin and horns. It was armed with a spear and had the ability to control ice, as it hurled ice spears towards me.
I quickly assessed the situation. I had my psychokinesis to push and pull objects, my umbrakinesis to blend in with the darkness, and my counter ability to reflect a portion of the damage I received. But most importantly, I had my trusty Miaodao sword.
I charged forward, dodging the devil’s ice spears and slicing at it with my sword. The devil was quick and agile, but I was determined to defeat it.
As the fight continued,
I found myself using my <Psychokinesis>
to hurl rocks and fallen branches at the devil.
I used my <Umbrakinesis> to blend in with the shadows, making it difficult for the devil to see me.
But the devil was relentless, constantly hurling ice spears and infusing its weapon with ice. I knew that I would need to use all of my abilities if I wanted to emerge victorious.
With a fierce determination, I launched myself at the devil, swinging my sword with all my might. I used my counter ability to deflect the devil’s spear strikes, and my <Psychokinesis> to hurl the devil off its feet.
Finally, with a powerful strike, I landed the final blow on the devil. It fell to the ground, defeated.
*HUFF *HUFF
As I stood there, panting and covered in sweat, I felt a sense of pride wash over me. I knew that there would be more challenges ahead, but for now, I was content to bask in the glow of my hard-fought victory.
