“Everyone! formation B!” Angela shouted and all of them said they ran towards that monster
<Light Phoenix> As Angela said, she herself got illuminated by a blinding pure fiery gold light and a Light phoenix emerges out of thin air as if showing off its grace, it transforms into a radiant fiery spear. It has the same color as that of the phoenix but it radiated more of a red color
‘It seems this spell requires high energy as well as charging time’
<waterfall> as Steve chanted, suddenly streams of water erupted from Steve’s wand and binded at that ape’s legs
<Icy terrain> Marcus’s spell suddenly made the atmosphere more frosty and cold as the temperature itself has lowered by several degrees
‘And those two are restraining that monster so that it can’t escape from her blow, nice strategy’
‘But it seems they won’t be enough to restrain him’
‘The monster will get free before he gets hit by her, so it seems I gotta help’
<Umbrakinesis> As I blended myself into the darkness
‘Now that I think of it, Umbrakinesis also increases your agility huh. nice’
‘To use possession effectively as possible i need to go near it’
As I came almost back of that monster
And now that I look closer he’s very giant almost like 2 times size of Marcus hehe
“L-Loid what the hell are you doing there, get away!” Marcus shouted
I silently turned at Marcus and frowned
‘He’s very annoying guy, not that I’ve time to deal with him so let’s make quick work of this monster’
<Possession>
As i used possession on the monster I found myself in a unfamiliar darkness
There was pin drop silence which my high school teacher everytime said
I moved my eyes all 360 but there was everything was darkness
But suddenly…
*THROB
*LUP-DUP
I heard sound of loud heart beats which was kinda creepy
And as I slowly moved in front the scenery before me changed drastically where there were huge trees, bushes yup too much greenery which confirms it’s a rainforest
But the question is how can such a place be here in Frozen Wastelands where there’s hardly any sign of plants
*THUMP
In a sudden the scene changes where that huge monster or ape is in front of me, this send shivers and as he moved towards me, he just phases like I’m not front of me
‘So this means I can’t touch anything and no one can touch me also, how interesting’
As I turn around to see that ape who was caressing his child’s head
or was it the monster- wait he hardly looks like a monster now that I clearly he just looks like a normal gorilla and there’s no ice shards sticking to his body
It seems not he can use any elemental power nor he looks hostile
*THUMP
Again the scene changes and…
Everything’s gone like everything like all those greenery, trees and all
And as I turn around and see those-
Everywhere I see is snow and ice with no sign of life
And…
those gorilla’s children- t-they are frozen ? no wait, are they breathing..?
‘The question remains in my mind as suddenly
*ROARRR x3
*GROAN
As I turn myself to that sound he saw three of those mutated snow leopards as they also something like corrosion in their skins and ice shard enveloping it growling in anger at the gorilla
Two of those leopards lunged at the gorilla while the other was aiming for the gorilla’s children
The gorilla itself was busy handing those gorilla while the other leopard
*CRUNCH
started biting his children with its sharp teeths
It also reminded me of the time when I was fighting one of those leopards which almost took my life so forget about about taking three of those
The gorilla turned around and saw that his children were already dead
So in fury…
*ROAARRRRRRR!
It’s roar was so furious that it shaked the whole cave
Due to it’s heavy roar the two leopards backed away in terror
The Gorilla’s skin slowly corrodes and forming ice shards on his skin slowly making it similar to the monster we are fighting now
The gorilla’s eye’s radiated with vengeance it formed a huge spear of ice in his hand thoroughly dashed towards one of those leopards and sliced it’s neck like cutting a paper with a scissor
Seeing this the other leopard lunged towards him its sharp claws but to no avail, it didn’t have any effect on him as the gorilla had his grandiose body so in another blow with his boulder like fist the leopard’s head was smashed and the blue blood flood like fountain from it
The Gorilla’s with eyes full of revenge turned towards the last leopard but suddenly the leopard wasn’t there but…
*SLASH
It slashed one of his eyes
*GROWLLLLLL!
*SNARL!
The Gorilla made a loud roar and once again with his huge ass spear it struck at him repeatedly as if he’s going to revive.
And I was there sitting on boulder with my head on my hands in boredom
‘When the hell is it gonna end’
*SIGGGHHHHHHHH
As I exhaled a long sigh my vision starts to blur
‘It seems this is the end, Goodbye Mr Gorilla I hope we won’t meet again’ as I said this I waved my hands with a happy smile on my face
*SMIRK
‘It seems some incident happened here which caused some kind of radiation which again caused mutation of animals but what about the plants and trees? As there are none or they might be in a frozen state So it must be magic huh?
A level of magic which can cause huge radiated and make the area permafrost interesting
I think I gotta investigate this case I hope I’ll find some good thing to pass my time hehe’

*PRESENT TIME*
*THUD
“Ouch!”
‘I’m never doing this again’
*GROWL!!!
“ANGELA!! NOW IS THE TIME!” x2 Marcus and Steve said at the same time
“Dang it”
“Let’s just run away now”
As I used <Umbrakinesis> I increased my speed and backed away from the monster as far as possible
*POWERING UP!!!!!!!!
*CHARGING!!!!!
“This is where you stand, monster!” Angela said as her eyes radiated with a deadly fiery aura
“NOW DIE!” She threw the spear with all her might
*SWOOSHHHHHHHHHH
The spear was thrown like speed of light which immediately came near the monster’s head and
*SHATTER!
It Shattered it’s whole head into nothing
All of its head contents were slipping away…
But not a spill of blood came out of it cuz, from the neck the area was gravely burned
‘DAMN’ that’s a fucking ultimate skill not gonna lie
*COUGH! *COUGH
As I heard coughing sounds I turned myself and saw that Angela was coughing out blood
As soon as I saw that I came to her aid and supported her to let her rest and wiped off the blood that was coming from her mouth with a tissue(found it that dead guy’s bag)
“Oh~ How amazing of you to come to my aid faster than others~” Angela seductively smiled at me
Angela might be staying strong from the outside but I know she must be receiving backlash from her so-called ultimate skill
So to tease her I also played my role
“Isn’t it a gentleman’s role to come to aid when a lady suffers ?” I said with a smile as I winked towards her
“Never knew Loid could be such a flirt right~ Marcus” Angela said with a smile
“Hehe My buddy is evolving I knew it” Marcus laughed as he slapped on my shoulders with his huge hand
“But Mr Kage how did you restrain that monster, we hardly have enough mana left and as you came near that monster you did something to that monster and that monster suddenly just stood there as if he was seduced” Steve couldn’t hide excitement as he said with hidden glint in his eyes
‘I know these type of people’
*SMIRK
So I just put my index finger on my lips and said
“Secret, heheh”
And Steve’s smile immediately vanished like it wasn’t even there
