As Loid fell into Angela’s arms, She let out an exhausted sigh.
It had been a few weeks since he led his team on the expedition, but it seemed they had run into trouble. What I saw was a horrendous sight – Loid’s ribs were broken and he had several claw marks on his body, indicating that he had fought a beast-like creature. The problem seemed to be his left arm, which was terribly broken.
“I think we need to move now,” Marcus put his hand on my shoulder and said.
“Yes, we don’t know when that creature will return,” Steve chimed in.
“You mean the Screech?” I asked.
“Yes, that Screech. I think it might be a high rank devil,” Steve answered.
“Well, we should avoid any more trouble for now, as we already have an injured person with us,” Marcus’s deep voice resounded.
“Right, Steve! Marcus is right. We should just complete our investigation as soon as possible,” I replied.
“Okay, so we will move after Mr. Kage wakes up. After that, we will continue our investigation,” Steve suggested.
“Agreed,” Marcus and I answered in unison.
“Let’s go then, Marcus, please carry Mr. Kage on your back,” Steve instructed.
“Sure!” Marcus carefully lifted Loid’s body onto his back.
“Let’s move!” we all said in unison, and set off towards our destination.

**IN A UNFAMILIAR SPACE**
It felt like a dream, as if I was fighting monsters with strange powers. The experience felt so realistic yet seemed unreal at the same time.
I had possessed someone’s body named ‘Loid Kage,’ but I couldn’t remember my real name.
“How strange?… how can a human come into this place?” a mysterious voice said.
I opened my heavy eyelids to see a figure in the distance. Their appearance was striking, clad in layers of blue clothing with fur accents, giving them an air of mystery.
Their gauntlets suggested physical prowess, and their shining white hair contrasted well with their blue attire.
A fur coat draped over their shoulders, and a blue owl perched on their hand suggested a connection to nature or perhaps some magical abilities.
Despite the mysterious sight ahead, my attention was soon drawn to the atmosphere around me. It was like nothing I had ever seen before.
The air was thick and hazy, with a pink and purple hue that made everything look surreal. The ground beneath my feet was made up of shimmering crystal formations, each one reflecting the strange light in a different way.
In the distance, strange shapes moved, and I realized that this place was alive with activity.
“Hey!”
As I explored further, the air grew thicker, and the sounds around me became stranger. The distant flutter of wings and the gentle hum of an unknown force filled my ears. The flora and fauna were unlike anything I had seen before, with plants and creatures that seemed to be both alive and not alive at the same time.
Suddenly it seemed like I was pushed by something that I never knew
‘Was it <Psychokinesis> just like mine?’
“You know you should really listen when someone this mighty is speaking.”
“Mighty?” I thought.
“I don’t like to be ignored, especially by trivial beings like you,” the mysterious figure said. “Now answer me, how did you come here? Humans just can’t barge into this place.”
“Your answer will tell if you can keep the air within you or not,” he threatened as a staff radiating with blue aura appeared in his hand.
“W-wait, I can answer,” I stuttered.
“Then do so,” he demanded, keeping the staff aimed at me.
“I was just fighting some monsters and was heavily injured, but I healed myself but I think after some time, my wounds reopened, which caused excessive bleeding, and I lost consciousness due to lack of blood,” I answered as honestly as I could recall.
Suddenly the staff radiated with a blue aura, causing me to flinch. The mysterious man clicked his tongue and lowered his staff, which disappeared from my sight.
“Listen here kid, it seems you don’t know where you are, so I’ll introduce you. Be grateful,” he said.
“This place is called the Miasmic Realm, where all miasma resides.”
“And what is miasma?” I asked, intrigued.
“And what is Miasma you may think so let me describe for you and listen carefully”
“The miasma was said to be the result of an ancient curse that had befallen the land, and it was known to cause madness and illness in those who breathed it in.
The creatures that lived in this realm avoided the miasma, and those who were foolish enough to venture into it often suffered dire consequences. The miasma seemed to have a life of its own, moving and shifting with a malevolent intent.
It was said that the miasma was alive, and that it fed on the life force of those it enveloped. The only way to combat the miasma was with powerful magic, and few dared to face it without such protection.
Despite its dangers, the miasma was also rumored to hold great secrets and treasures for those brave enough to seek them out. The miasma was just one of the many dangers that made this fantastical dimension a place of wonder and terror.”
“And this it about this realm”
“Oh and by the way I am called ‘The Seeker'”as he said I saw his eyes flashed blue i swear

When Loid was in Miasmic realm
Meanwhile…
*THE FROZEN WASTELAND*
*SLASH!!
*CLANG
*POWERING UP!
<Fireball>
*BLAST!
*ROARR!
“Damn it Steve! How much longer is it gonna take?! I can’t take them for long” Angela asked as she fired some fireballs with her wand
“Just hold on for 5 minutes” Steve replied and sighed
“Marcus! Why the hell are you wrestling with them! Come here!” Angela shouted
Looking at Marcus, he was like fighting with a very huge spawn bare handed
‘That’s why people call him muscle idiot’ Angela muttered and sighed
“Okay now! I’m done here” Steve said
<Waterfall>
A high stream of water erupted from Steve’s wand and crashed into monsters
*SWOOSH
*CRASH
“Nice going”x2 Angela and Marcus gave thumbs-up to Steve
“A-Ahem w-well we should go now” Steve shyly said
‘Shy’ Angela said inwardly
“Should we take a break now?” Marcus asked
“I guess we can” Angela replied happily
“By the way that reminds me, when will he wake up” Marcus asked
“Anytime now i guess, the medicine must taken its effect as he looks more healthy as compared to that time and his bleeding is been stopped from all the meds we gave” Steve replied as he started sipping his juice from a packet
“By the way you two seems close to him, do you know him before” Steve asked with curiosity
“Yes we were close” Angela replied at a low voice
“Something happened?” Steve raised his eyebrows
“N-no it’s just happened in the past” Angela told him
“Well Steve if you wanna know you yourself have to ask Loid
We can’t just tell somebody’s secrets like that” Marcus replied with his deep voice
“It’s not a secret anymore you know” Angela replied sarcastically
“Is it” Marcus asked
“Yes everyone in the academy knows it” Angela replied while looking at her sandwich
“Well then I’ll just Mr Kage myself then” Steve said with respect
“By the way I’m meaning to ask why do you call Loid as Mr Kage” Angela asked
“But isn’t Loid Mr Kage?” Steve answered
“Well Loid don’t like using his surname” Marcus said
“Yeah he doesn’t like anyone to call him like that” Angela said
“If I remember during first year someone just called him using his surname and he beat him hard” Marcus recalled
“Yeah I know as well l, i don’t know about right now he seems to ignore it” Angela said
“You should be careful, if not about this time he would beat you as well” Marcus said while looking at Steve
“B-but Mr Kage no L-Loid won’t hit me now? Will he” Steve asked with fear
“Maybe” “Probably” Angela and Marcus replied monotonously
“That doesn’t help at all” Steve said with dread
