A Nightmare or an Illusion?

*TICK *TOCK

*TICK *TOCK

*TICK *TOCK

the tick-tock of a clock reverberates through the silent halls

The sound echoes, creating an enigmatic atmosphere within the abandoned mansion.

As time passes, the clock’s relentless ticking intensifies, creating a sense of anticipation.

*TICK *TOCK

*TICK *TOCK (ECHO)

*THUNDER!

Suddenly, a clap of thunder resounds, its powerful rumble filling the hall and breaking the eerie stillness. The thunder’s echo lingers, adding to the haunting atmosphere.

*PITTER-PATTER

Following the thunder, a gentle pitter-patter ensues as raindrops fall, echoing through every room. The rain’s touch wets the windows, woodwork, and vegetation, permeating every nook and cranny of the mansion, as if cleansing it from its desolate state.

Yes… a mansion, a very big house where no living, lies here

The servants, in their movements, seem possessed, their actions controlled by an invisible force that manipulates their fate like marionettes on strings.

The guards, stationed throughout the mansion, stand motionless, their expressions devoid of any emotion, resembling lifeless puppets.

Within this grand residence, devoid of any signs of life, two figures stand out—the only inhabitants.

Within the labyrinthine chambers of this abandoned mansion, where life no longer thrives,

Stood the only livings,

*PLINK *PLINK

*SAW *SAW

A melancholic duet begins, the notes of a piano and violin intertwining in a somber embrace.

A young girl with pink hair delicately touches the keys of the piano, her fingers dancing across the ivory with a sorrowful grace.

Beside her, a boy with jet-black hair draws his bow across the strings of the violin, coaxing out mournful melodies that resonate with a bittersweet longing.

Their music permeates the stagnant air, filling each room and corridor with an otherworldly aura.

Yet, their performance is not merely sorrowful; it possesses a strange, paradoxical allure that captivates and rejuvenates the soul.

As the spectral sounds continue to echo through the forlorn mansion, it seems as though the music itself holds secrets untold, a lamentation for a forgotten past, and a promise of redemption yet to come.

Together, their sorrowful melody resonates throughout the mansion, filling the void with a bittersweet melancholy.

Each note played and every stroke of the bow carries a weight of emotions, as if the music itself mourns the forgotten lives that once graced these halls.

Yet, within the melancholy, there is also a subtle sense of solace, offering a momentary respite from the desolation that permeates the abandoned mansion.

Unbeknownst to the mysterious ambiance that enveloped the abandoned mansion, a flicker of light pierced the darkness. Igniting a match, someone sought to bring a warm glow or maybe a hidden glint into this silent realm, unaware of the secrets that lay hidden within its walls.

*PITTER-PATTER

Amidst another sorrowful scene, rain continued to echo through the atmosphere, intensifying the somber mood.

A gathering of people had assembled with a shared purpose – to mourn the passing of someone dear. The raindrops fell gently upon their umbrellas, creating a symphony of melancholic patter.

Within the crowd, occupying a secluded bench, sat a boy. His presence concealed from prying eyes, he seemed detached from the world around him.

His countenance held a profound sadness, as if he had lost something precious, his eyes reflecting a depth of sorrow that transcended words.

As the mourners bowed their heads in collective grief, the boy remained distant, lost in his own private sorrow.

The rain mingled with his tears, falling from his cheeks to the damp ground, mirroring the downpour’s melancholy cadence.

It seemed as if the heavens themselves wept for the boy’s loss, their tears merging with his own.

In this scene of shared grief and solitude, the boy’s heartache resonated deeply.

The weight of his emotions, like a heavy shroud, draped over his slumped shoulders.

Though surrounded by the embrace of mourning companions, he remained engulfed in his personal sorrow, separated from the solace offered by their presence.

Unnoticed and unseen, the boy’s silent agony echoed through the air, mingling with the rain’s mournful melody.

The combination of nature’s tears and the collective sorrow of the mourners enveloped the scene, creating an atmosphere laden with empathy, understanding, and the recognition of life’s fragility.

As the boy clung to his memories, he yearned for solace, aching for the touch of what had been lost.

In the midst of this sorrowful gathering, he sought to find closure, to navigate the intricate labyrinth of grief and emerge on the other side, forever changed but able to find peace.

But for now, he sat on the hidden bench, a figure shrouded in his own personal tempest, as the rain continued its melancholic dance and the echoes of sorrow reverberated through the air.

*TICK TOCK

*TICK TOCK

The rhythmic sound of the clock filled the room

*DUN!

*GASP!

“Haah! Haah!”

“What the… fuck! A Nightmare! Ugh! Haah… Haah” I took hold of my head with my hands

Suddenly, I jolted awake, gasping for breath. Sweat covered my forehead as I clutched my head in my hands, trying to shake off the remnants of a terrifying nightmare.

“I think I should take a breather… let’s go outside” I muttered, pushing myself out of bed. I quickly slipped on my academy jacket and grabbed my slippers before heading towards the door. As it creaked open, the silence of the hallway greeted me.

*CREAK

*THUMP

*STEP *STEP

Sounding of footsteps lingered through the silent hall as I moved

“Obviously, no one would be awake at this hour,” I sighed, shrugging off the eerie feeling.

And as I was moving suddenly

*THUD!

But just as I started walking, a loud thud echoed through the corridor, growing louder with each passing second.

*THUD!!

“Damn it!” I exclaimed, covering my ears in an attempt to block out the noise.

*THUD!!!

But what expected was, didn’t came rather the hall was suddenly filled with eerie silence

Suddenly, everything fell silent

Leaving me on edge. I cautiously removed my hands, expecting something to happen.

“…”

However, after standing there for what felt like an eternity, nothing occurred. Confused, I decided to continue down the hall, only to be faced with another door.

*CREAK

“Hmm,” I sighed, opening the door. To my surprise, I found myself back in the same hallway I had just come from.

But what I saw left me with confusion as what in front of me was the same hall I had came from

“What in the world is happening?” I frowned

So I turned around and opened the door on my back, or at least tried to as the door’s handle itself was nowhere to be seen

Which left me with annoyance

Annoyed, I tried pushing the door, but it wouldn’t budge. Frustration washed over me. *Sighing heavily, I was suddenly startled by a loud thud behind me.

*THUD!

“GRRR!” A angry growl resounded at my back

Hearing this my annoyance doubled

*SIGH

Sighing again, I turned back to see the figure

“Grrr!” a menacing growl filled the air, intensifying my annoyance. Steeling myself, I turned to face the figure.

Unfortunately, luck was not on my side. It was a shadowy beast similar to the one that cursed Steve, but this one had a wolf-like form with hands protruding from its head.

Then where will be his head

But It didn’t knew I have grown stronger than before

I pondered where its actual head might be, but there was no time for answers as the beast lunged at my neck, aiming for a lethal strike.

“Tch! Trying to one-hit kill me, huh?” I scoffed, irritated by its audacity.

“Tch! Trying to One hit Kill me huh?!” I clicked my tongue in annoyance

<Psychokinesis>

Using my Psychokinesis,I immobilized the beast, suspending it in mid-air before hurling it down the hallway.

*CRASH!

Taking advantage of the moment, I turned my attention to the nearby windows, struck by an idea.

With both hands, I exerted force, pulling the windows towards me. The glass shattered, transforming into sharp blades that floated around me.

*SHATTER!

With precision, I launched the blades towards the beast.

*PIERCE

Piercing through its body,

*GROAN

the beast howled in agony, blood streaming from its wounds like a faucet.

Smirking at its suffering, I commanded the blades to dig deeper into its flesh.

*PIERCE!

*GROWL!

In its misery, the beast growled defiantly, attempting one final attack. However, its futile effort was anticipated. Time seemed to slow as it lunged towards me, but I was prepared to end its existence.

*SWOOSH!

Swiftly, a blade soared through the air, piercing its heart from behind and tearing through its body. With a lifeless thud, the beast collapsed onto the ground.

[*BEEP!]

A beep sound came from my bracelet which then formed a screen which had written,

[You have slain a Tier 2 Shadow Beast!]

“This curse…tch” Seeing this I clicked my tongue

Cursing under my breath, I couldn’t help but recall that moment when I inadvertently destroyed the basement and endangered everyone’s lives. It was a complete disaster, and I despised the memory.

Shaking off those thoughts, I shifted my attention to the wounded beast before me. “Seems like taking a breather always leads to trouble,” I mused inwardly. I approached the creature and crouched down to examine it, noticing a glimmering red stone nearby.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I reached out to touch it.

Suddenly, a loud thud reverberated through the area, causing the hall—or whatever remained of it—to vanish into darkness. It was as if I had been transported to a different realm altogether

*THUD!

*FLICK

In the midst of the darkness, I heard the distinct sound of fingers flicking, and just like that, the darkness dissipated. Standing before me was a figure that I could never forget, even if I wanted to.

“Hey, what’s up?” The Seer greeted me with a friendly smile and a wave of his hand. Yes, it was none other than The Seer from the Miasmic Realm. Did this mean I was trapped in that hellish place once again?

“Fuck,” I muttered in annoyance, realizing the grim situation I found myself in.
