1. Introduction
At ChapterChase, operated by Vision Web (sole proprietor: Ujjwal Dadhich), we strive to provide the best reading and writing experience. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for subscriptions and digital points on our Platform.
2. Subscriptions (Premium Reader & Author Pro)
We offer monthly subscription plans for enhanced features.
- No Partial Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period once charged. We do not provide partial refunds or credits for any mid-month cancellations or unused subscription time.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Your premium access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
3. Chapter Points
Chapter Points are digital goods used to unlock exclusive content or support authors.
- Non-Refundable: All purchases of Chapter Points are final and non-refundable. Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency.
- Consumable Nature: Once points are used to unlock a chapter, the action cannot be reversed, and points will not be credited back to your account.
4. Exceptional Circumstances
While our general policy is no refunds, we may consider refund requests in the following limited scenarios:
- Duplicate Billing: If you were accidentally charged twice for the same transaction.
- Technical Errors: If a technical failure on our Platform prevented you from accessing purchased content or points, and we are unable to resolve the issue.
- Fraudulent Activity: If your account was compromised and unauthorized purchases were made (subject to verification).
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under exceptional circumstances, please contact our support team at help@chapterchase.com within 7 days of the transaction. Please include:
- Your account username and registered email address.
- Transaction ID and date.
- A detailed explanation of the reason for the request.
6. Updates to Policy
Chapterchase (Vision Web) reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform.
