Riya’s mother now goes to Riya’s room to find it been locked from inside. Ok, so she’s in her room, for sure. “Riya, open the door. What you are doing in there. “, asks Riya’s mom.
She Compliments her calls with repeated knocks on the door. It’s on the fifth knock, accompanied by a loud shout, ” Riya, are you asleep? Will you open the door”. Hearing the voice, Riya gets startled and wakes up. Rubbing her sleepy eyes with the fist of her hands, she opens the door.
No sooner did the door open, her mom rushes inside. “Riya, are you alright. Why did you not open the door for such a long time. What we’re you doing. Don’t tell me your exams did not go well”, says Riya’s mom.

” Ok now get up. Sprinkle some water on your eyes and have your lunch. And ha, your friend jasmina called me. Do call her back”, says Riya’s mom handing her the phone.
“Oh what did she say”, asked Riya.
” Nothing much… just that she’s preparing for entrance her plans for doing Bcom, etc. ”
“I hope you too are thinking about it. We will have a talk on it at the dinner table”, said Riya’s mother as she left the room.
